Agumon is a fictional character from the Digimon media franchise. He is the digimon partner of Marcus Damon (Masaru Daimon in the Japanese version) and a main character in the Digimon Data Squad anime series.
Contents[hide] |
[edit] Appearance
This Agumon has a slightly different design to the original Agumon in Digimon Adventure. He is taller, with more teeth, longer claws, wider forearms, bigger muscles and red training bracers. Where Digimon Adventure's Agumon had well-defined nostrils and pectoral muscles, this Agumon has just two oval-shaped holes on the front of his muzzle and a flat chest. He is also much larger than previous Agumon, being almost as tall as a human adolescent.
This may be classified as a different species of Agumon. Therefore when it evolves, it resembles the original Agumon Tai has.
A mistake can be seen occasionally throughout the series where Agumon has the same number of teeth of an original Agumon in Digimon Adventure.
[edit] Description
Agumon adores his partner Marcus, and considers himself to be "Marcus's employee" (follower in the original). He even refers to Marcus as his Boss (aniki in Japanese)
In the first episode, he is referred to by the code-name of Raptor-1 by DATS.
This Agumon in particular holds true to the given description of a common Agumon being somewhat aggressive.
Being the main Digimon character in the series, Agumon is always the first amongst the partner digimon to reach a new level. Unlike the other partner digimon in Digimon Data Squad, Agumon was easily accepted into Marcus' family when he was discovered, and is even given free rein of the Damon household[1].
Although Yoshi tells Marcus that Digimon can only eat special Digimon food, Agumon tends to eat practically anything, including Marcus's mother Sarah's fried eggs. Agumon's obsession with eating sometimes results in comical moments when Agumon (or Koromon, in one situation) attempts to eat Marcus's head.
In the final episode, Marcus' DNA gives Agumon a new appearance. An outline of a dragon surrounds him, and he is given fiery bird-like wings and a dragon-like tail. In addition, Marcus can ride him, using straps attached to Agumon's wristbands to control his movements. Fans like to refer to this as Agumon Burst Mode.
Attacks
- Pepper Breath (Baby Flame): Agumon shoots an orange fireball of varying strength from his mouth.
- Spitfire Blast (Baby Burner): This attack uses a more powerful stream of fire than Pepper Breath.
[edit] Other forms
The name "Agumon" refers only to the Rookie form of this Digimon. Throughout the series, Agumon gains the ability to Digivolve into a number of more powerful forms, each with a different name and special attack. However, the Rookie level is his preferred one and the one he spends most of his time in.
[edit] 'Koromon'This section refers to the Koromon featured in Digimon Data Squad. For the Koromon in Digimon Adventure/02, see Agumon. Nevertheless, it should be noted that the Koromon seen in Digimon Adventure is identical to that in Digimon Savers/Data Squad
Koromon is Agumon's In-Training form. The name "Koromon" derives from the Japanese word "Korokoro", meaning "something small, round, and rolling." He is a pink, ball-shaped Digimon with floppy ears, bright-red eyes and sharp teeth. He is approximately a foot tall. Agumon appears once in this form after being reborn from a Digi-Egg during the fight against Belphemon. Interestingly, in Digimon Adventure/Adventure02, Agumon would hatch from a digiegg as a Botomon, then later digivolve to Koromon. However, in this series, after Agumon was turned back into a diggegg, he was reborn as Koromon and quickly digivolved to Agumon (In episode 37). Attacks

[edit] Agumon Burst FormAgumon Burst Form was only seen against King Drasil, in this form both Agumon and Marcus Damon were able to defeat King Drasil in its true form. Like ShineGreymon Burst Mode he glows a fiery red. He also grows a fiery bird-like tail and wings. [edit] GeoGreymonGeoGreymon is Agumon's Champion (adult in the original Japanese) level form. GeoGreymon's appearance is similar to Greymon, but with red markings on the sides of his helmet and arms, a more well-defined chest, a longer tail, and different body markings. GeoGreymon first appears during Agumon and Marcus' fight against a large Kokatorimon. This is when Marcus activated his DNA for the first time. Marcus was given his Digivice iC, and with it, he was able to help Agumon digivolve into GeoGreymon for the first time. GeoGreymon's name comes from the Latin word "Geo," meaning "Stone," or "Earth," and "Grey," which is most likely a misspelling of the word "Great." Attacks
|
[edit] RizeGreymonRizeGreymon is Agumon's Ultimate (perfect in the original Japanese) form. During digivolution to RizeGreymon, Marcus' digivice iC reads Perfect Evolution, most likely in accordance with the Japanese name. RizeGreymon first appears during the fight against Garudamon. Marcus' own frustration over the uneasiness of his friends and family caused him to evoke the power GeoGreymon needed to digivolve into RizeGreymon[2]. RizeGreymon is the Savers equivalent of Tai's MetalGreymon, featuring similar aspects. More than half of RizeGreymon's body is mechanical. Attacks
and tankmon [edit] ShineGreymonShineGreymon is Agumon's Mega form (ultimate in the original Japanese). ShineGreymon is first seen during the fight against Kurata's group of BioDigimon. Marcus' DNA super-powered RizeGreymon, causing a silhouette of ShineGreymon to appear around RizeGreymon. ShineGreymon was properly introduced in the next episode, along with MirageGaogamon and Rosemon after the Digimon Data Squad team learns how to harness this new power. ShineGreymon boasts armor made of Red Digizoid, the hardest and most powerful form of Digizoid. ShineGreymon can be compared to WarGreymon from Digimon Adventure/01 in that both he and his previous forms mirror that of the Agumon line from the first series. WarGreymon is also a user of Digizoid armor, although he uses the weaker Chrome Digizoid. Attacks
[edit] ShineGreymon Ruin ModeShineGreymon Ruin Mode is said to be the corrupted form of his Burst Mode. The first time ShineGreymon changed mode, it was into Ruin Mode, a corrupted version of the true Burst Mode. This occurred during ShineGreymon's battle with MirageGaogamon, when Marcus' dark emotions caused ShineGreymon to go through Burst Digivolution. ShineGreymon Ruin Mode went out of control until it regressed back to a Digi-Egg (which later hatches into Agumon's In-Training form, Koromon). This dark ruin digivolution could be linked to the occasion in Digimon Adventure when Tai Kamiya's Greymon dark digivolved into SkullGreymon, as well as the occasion in Digimon Tamers when Takato Matsuki's WarGrowlmon dark digivolved into Megidramon. The biggest link was that all three dark digivolutions fed on the negative emotions of the Leaders of the Chosen Children. Attacks
[edit] ShineGreymon Burst ModeShineGreymon Burst Mode is the Burst Digivolved form of ShineGreymon. Marcus manages to activate ShineGreymon's true Burst Mode in the battle against Belphemon, this time, ShineGreymon properly transforms into his Burst Mode and manages to defeat Belphemon. Marcus activates his DNA again during the DATS team's first encounter with the Royal Knights, allowing ShineGreymon to enter his Burst Mode again. However, this time, he is defeated by Gallantmon. He appeared later on facing the Royal Knight Craniummon in a one on one duel, but was defeated, until the rest of the Dats arrived together defeating the Knight. He last appeared in the final confrontation against Yggdrasil along with the other DATS Digimon. ShineGreymon obtains this mode in episode 38. Attacks

[edit] GaogamonGaogamon is Gaomon's Champion form. His name is a combination of the Japanese onomatopoeias "Gao" and "Ga," which are used to describe the sound of a growl. He resembles a large blue wolf. Gaomon first Digivolved to Gaogamon in order to fight a pack of DemiMeramon. From then on, he appears in battle often. He started off being rivals with GeoGreymon, the Champion form of Marcus Damon's Digimon partner. This rivalry caused them to let an enemy Drimogemon escape. The two later settled their differences in the fifth episode of the season, and was able to finish off Drimogemon (who, at that point, had digivolved into Digmon) together. Attacks
|
[edit] MachGaogamonMachGaogamon is Gaomon's Ultimate form. Gaomon first achieves this form in episode 15, "The Gorge of Deception!". In this episode, Thomas was one of the humans who had been captured by MetalPhantomon. MetalPhantomon put them under a nightmare spell - causing Thomas to relive the day of his moms death. However, Thomas was able to break free of the spell, which awakened his DNA and allowed his partner Gaomon to Warp Digivolve into his ultimate form. In this new form, MachGaogamon was able to defeat MetalPhantomon. Attacks
|
[edit] MirageGaogamonMirageGaogamon is Gaomon's mega form. MirageGaogamon is covered in Chrome Digizoid armor and has the Digital Hazard sign (the same four triangles which are on Guilmon) on his chest. MirageGaogamon first appears during the fight with Kurata's group of humans-turned-Digimon, when Thomas' DNA super-powers MachGaogamon. In this episode, a silhouette of MirageGaogamon appears around MachGaogamon and produces a powerful energy attack. MirageGaogamon is properly introduced in the next episode, along with ShineGreymon and Rosemon, after the Data Squad learn how to harness this new power. MirageGaogamon faces off with Nanami, one of the Bio Tamers. MirageGaogamon is able to defeat Nanami's digimon form BioLotusmon when Thomas's plan allows him to get BioLotusmon at pointblank range. Attacks
|
[edit] MirageGaogamon Burst ModeMirageGaogamon Burst Mode is MirageGaogamon's Mode change. MirageGaogamon temporarily assumes this form through Burst Digivolution - which pushes his powers and abilities to the limit. MirageGaogamon Burst Mode first appears when a Knightmon lead by LordKnightmon attacks Relena. Thomas' DNA allows MirageGaogamon to go into his Burst Mode, giving him the power to destroy LoadKnightmon. He appeared later on helping ShineGreymon Burst Mode alongside the other DATS Digimon to defeat the Royal Knight Craniummon. He last appeared in the final confrontation against King Drasil alongside the other DATS members. Attacks

Lalamon (sometimes referred to as Raramon) is a fictional character from the Digimon franchise, appearing in the series Digimon Data Squad.
Both spellings of Lalamon's name (Raramon and Lalamon) would be pronounced the same way by a native speaker of Japanese. It could possibly be a pun on the sound of singing (lalala), the "Rara ayub," a plant that helped the prophet Job during his time of suffering as told in Hebrew scripture, and the word lullaby, which is transliterated into Japanese as rarabai.

[edit] Appearance
She is a rookie level vegetation Digimon who resembles a small flower-like creature. Her face consists of black circular shapes.
[edit] Description
She is the Digimon partner of Yoshino Fujieda, the series' heroine. Her first appearance was in the first episode of Digimon Data Squad to break up the fight between Marcus and Agumon.
Lalamon speaks her mind and is very honest.
Her appearances have not been as showcased as Agumon's or Gaomon's, preferring instead to be more of an informer, or backup fighter, than to be in the thick of the action. This however drastically changed once she became Lilamon for the first time. Note: Palmon and Lalamon's Mega form are the same digimon.
Attacks
- Seed Blast (Nuts Shoot): Shoots explosive seeds from her mouth.
- Sing a Song: Sings a harmonious melody that causes her enemies to fall asleep.
- Lala Spiral (Lala Screw): Spins the leaves on top of her head, which allows her to cut things.
[edit] Other forms
The name "Lalamon" refers only to the Rookie form of this Digimon. Throughout the series, Lalamon gains the ability to Digivolve into a number of more powerful forms, each with a different name and special attack. However, the Rookie level is her preferred form and the one she spends most of her time in.
[edit] BudmonBudmon is Lalamon's In-Training form. She resembles a spiky seed with a leaf for a tail. Attacks
[edit] SunflowmonSunflowmon is Lalamon's Champion form. Sunflowmon first appears in episode 2 to fight against Kunemon, but it further evolved into Flymon and paralyzed Sunflowmon and Yoshino with its poison powder. When this happened, Marcus had to Digivolve Agumon to GeoGreymon to protect them from harm. Early on in the series, Sunflowmon appeared infrequently after this battle and remained Lalamon, preferring to let the male protagonists handle battle situations. However, from episode 12 and onwards, she appears in numerous battles, usually guarding the human partners from attacks and warding off incoming enemy Digimon with long-range energy attacks. In episode 15 she defeated 7 Dokugumon with one hit. Her name is derived from the English word sunflower, describing her happy and flowery appearance. Attacks
|
[edit] LilamonLilamon is Lalamon's Ultimate form. Lilamon first appears during the fight against Mammothmon in Episode 17, when Yoshino finally envoked her own DNA. She is noticeably more feminine than her previous evolution, but her feminine and seemingly frail frame should not be taken to heart as she has already demonstrated considerable power. Lilamon is extremely similar to Lillymon in appearance, implying the fact that Lilamon is the series' counterpart to Lillymon. This is the same for Agumon (Savers) and Gaomon to Agumon (Adventure 01 and 02) and Gabumon respectively. Her name is derived from the English word Lilac, describing her sweet and flowery appearance and perhaps her coloration. Attacks
|
[edit] RosemonRosemon is Lalamon's Mega form. Rosemon first appears during the fight against Kurata's group of BioDigimon. Yoshino's DNA super-powered Lilamon, and a silhouette of Rosemon appears around Lilamon. Rosemon was properly introduced in the next episode, along with ShineGreymon and MirageGaogamon after the DATS learns how to harness this new power. Rosemon also defeats BioSpinomon, the strengthened digimon form of Ivan, in the later episodes. Her name comes from the English word rose. She is also called the Queen of the Flowers. On her chest is the Tifaret Jewel,[1] the symbol of love and beauty, which prevents her from aging. She is also the mega level of Palmon . Attacks
[edit] Rosemon Burst ModeRosemon Burst Mode is the Burst Digivolved form of Rosemon. She holds the aura of Love and beauty, thus her strength has reached to her limit. Rosemon first digivolved into this form through Burst Digivolution in episode 43, during the fight against Leopardmon of the Royal Knights. She appeared later on helping ShineGreymon Burst Mode alongside the other DATS Digimon to defeat the Royal Knight Craniammon. She last appeared in the final confrontation against King Drasil alongside the other DATS Digimon. Attacks

Falcomon is a Rookie level Bird Digimon that lives in high mountains. The Data Squad version of Falcomon has the ability to fly while the original version is only able to run very fast.
Contents[hide] |
[edit] Appearance
The Data Squad version of Falcomon looks somewhat different from the original version, with a smaller toothless beak, red eye markings, dark brown body feathers and purple chest feathers with shuriken markings.
Falcomon looks like a ninja. He resembles more of an owl than a falcon.
[edit] Description
This Falcomon, different from the original design in the card game, is the partner of Keenan Crier (Ikuto Noguchi) and is a servant of Merukimon. Details about his past are sketchy, but he has known Keenan since he was very young, and has a distrust of humans other than Keenan. He and Keenan were protected by a female Frigimon - who was destroyed - an act which Falcomon believes humans are responsible for.
Years after this, he came to the human world on his own to try and return Puwamon (later Biyomon) to the Digital World. In his second attempt, he showed great speed and prowess, until he was knocked out of the sky by Marcus Damon (Masaru Daimon). He was nearly destroyed by GeoGreymon, until Merukimon arrived to save him. He then returned to the digital world. He was reunited with Keenan, and joined his human partner in ambushing the members of DATS when they came to the Digital World. During his attack on the DATS members, he Digivolved Falcomon to Peckmon. In his Rookie form, Falcomon in the English dub speaks with a British accent.
After this, Falcomon's next prominent act was to forge an unsteady alliance with the humans, in order to save Keenan from the virus that was afflicting him and Yoshino Fujieda. He led them to a place called Wanderer's Cape, where they were beset by a Blossomon sent by the Gotsumon that works for Merukimon. Falcomon escaped with the vaccine and helped Keenan, but also helped to save Yoshi. He departed with his partner, conflicted in his thoughts about humanity. He and Keenan attacked again near Merukimon's lair only to be interrupted by a Mammothmon unleashed by Gotsumon. As Gwappamon was holding off Merukimon, Falcomon followed the DATS members (and the unconscious Keenan) back to the Real World. After Okuwamon attacks and Hagurumon taking over Dr. Crier's house, Falcomon fled with Keenan when Commander Sampson's (Rentarou Satsuma) superior Director Hashima appeared. Falcomon continues to help Keenan and DATS. After the fight against King Drasil, Falcomon returns to the Digital World with the other Digimon.
Attacks
- Scratch Smash: Uses the claws to scratch.
- Ninja Blade (Shuririnken 手裏裏剣 [1]): Releases multiple shurikens at his opponents.
- Firecracker Smokescreen (Uchitake Drop 打竹落し [2]): Drops exploding bamboo cylinders on his enemies.
[edit] Other forms
The name "Falcomon" refers only to the Rookie form of this Digimon. Throughout the series, Falcomon gains the ability to Digivolve into a number of more powerful forms, each with a different name and special attack. However, the Rookie level is his preferred form and the one he spends most of his time in.
[edit] PeckmonPeckmon redirects here. This section refers to the Peckmon featured in Digimon Data Squad. A Peckmon also appears as a character in Digimon Next. Peckmon is the Champion form of Falcomon. He first appeared when Keenan challenged the members of DATS when they emerged into the Digital World with the intention of fighting Merukimon. He dodged the attacks of GeoGreymon, Gaogamon, and Sunflowmon before being hit by Cherrymon's attack. After RizeGreymon stopped Gotsumon's attack, Ikuto and Peckmon fled. Peckmon reappears in future episodes. Attacks

Crowmon is the Ultimate form of Falcomon. Falcomon first Digivolves to this series version of Crowmon when his partner Keenan Crier gains his new DNA to avenge Merukimon's death, when it came to battling Kurata's Gizumon XT and destroyed it. Crowmon is named after the a crow, but his Japanese name, Yatagaramon, is named after the Yatagarasu of Japanese mythology. (Also known as Yatakaramon in Digimon World DS). Attacks

- ^ This is a play on words. Based on the direct translation of the name, the use of "rin" in splitting "shuri" and "ken" - shuriken being a common weapon associated with ninjas - implies dozens of smaller versions of a shuriken - in this case, it applies to the multitude of shuriken Falcomon uses in this attack.
- ^ The Japanese naming for this is Uchitake Otoshi; Uchitake itself is a ninja tool, so it remains untranslated as it is a proper noun.
